Yes, SunSage Home Care accepts Medicaid (with authorization) as well as private insurance and private pay. If you are unsure about your eligibility, our team can guide you through the Medicaid approval process and help with any paperwork. We believe quality home care should be accessible, so we work closely with families to explore payment options and ensure services fit both care needs and budget.

We currently offer extended and flexible hourly care, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and overnight shifts, depending on your needs. However, we do not provide live-in 24-hour care at this time. Our goal is to create a schedule that works best for you and ensures consistent, reliable support.

If your regular caregiver is unavailable due to illness, emergency, or scheduling conflict, SunSage Home Care will arrange a qualified substitute caregiver to ensure there is no disruption in your care. Whenever possible, we notify you and your family in advance so you feel informed and supported. Our priority is to provide consistent, reliable care you can always count on.

A: SunSage Home Care accepts Medicaid, private pay, and VA clients. We also offer flexible payment arrangements to make care as accessible and stress-free as possible.

All of our caregivers undergo extensive training, background checks, TB clearance, and specialized dementia care education. Ongoing training ensures they provide safe, high-quality, and compassionate care at all times.

We have an emergency backup system in place to ensure you’re never left without support. If your regular caregiver can’t make it, we’ll promptly provide a qualified replacement to continue your care without interruption.
